From 2027. Those foreign worker who working in Japan and hold visa status: specific skill-I will need to pass JLPT N3 of Japan, if they want to change to specific skilled-2

This rule has not been emplement yet but It will soon come to practice. For now this is rule for food service and fishries.

Question 1:- I have visa status:specific skilled worker-1, when I need to pass this JLPT exam?
=>Ans:- You need this JLPT N3 certificate while changing your visa status to specific skilled worker-2. Or while taking exam of specific skilled worker-2.
